SHEPHERDING
MINISTRY
|

In an effort to minister more effectively to the needs of the
the congregtion at Towne South, the elders have divided the
members and their families, regular attendees, and recent
guest into four flocks. These flocks are established on the
basis of already existing relationships and other similar
factors. The purpose of these flocks is identify members with
at least one leader who can focus on a smaller group of people
and, thus, become more personally involved with you than would
otherwise be possible. It simply means that you now have a
shepherd who has accepted personal responsibility for your
spiritual welfare.
It would be helpful for you to reflect on the following
scripture passages in order to see what such shepherding
involves: I Peter 5:1-4; Acts 20:20-31; I Timothy 3:1-7; Titus
1:5-10; II Timothy 2:24-25; Ephesians 4:11-16; and Hebrews
13:7,17. call upon these men. They have prayerfully accepted
this responsibility and want to be the kind of shepherd Jesus
modeled.
Every 5th Sunday Night is FLOCK NIGHT.
