AMAZING GRACE
Twenty years ago a mustard seed was
planted in the land of Central India Christian Mission's
fertile soil. It was nurtured by prayers. Now it has
become a tree through which fruits are reaped and many
lives are sheltered.
Yes indeed! This is the testimony of the
Children's Fund program of Central India Christian
Mission. We started this program with the motto
"May You become a Shining Witness of our Lord Jesus
Christ." We heard His voice loud and clear that if
you clothe the naked, feed the hungry, and take care of
the orphaned, blind, and sick, you have done that to
Jesus.
It is a very rewarding, thrilling, and
exciting ministry that guides, molds, and transforms
lives for his glory. So far, out of the children who
grew up with the ministry, 96 have become preachers and
29 are currently enrolled in Bible colleges. Several
have become teachers, nurses, x-ray technicians, lab
technicians, etc. Two were presently in medical school
and one is in engineering college.
Sunday school and Bible studies are
required for the children in this program. Before
graduating from school 75% of the children commit their
lives to Christ and accept his Lordship. Many families
are reached wit the Good News through these children. As
a result, almost 400 families have been added into His
kingdom.
We are now in the process of
constructing a Children's home. We plan to complete the
first phase by the end of this year, the Lord willing!
Then we will be able to provide a home for 50 orphans.
With each vision of God there are challenges and
hindrances from the devil, but thanks be to God that
when His people join hands, God parts the seas, tumbles
down the walls and barriers, and finally gives victory
over all obstacles and brings forth good despite all
negatives.
You have been a part of this whole
program. You have played a major role in making an
eternal difference in the lives of the thousands of
children. We are very grateful to you. May God bless our
partnership, love, and unity to bless many lives for the
extension of His kingdom. |
